Helvetica and Pizza posted by geof.crowl
You've seen the posters. You've probably used the typeface (Helvetica that is... I hope there isn't a pizza typeface). Now let's hang out, watch a documentary about it, and eat some pizza! We shall be watching it at Lindsey's, Jacob, Josh, and Travis's house @ 6:30PM today! Their address is:
Go in the front door, and walk up the stairs. Feel free to shout design terminology similar to the game marco polo to find us. :)
The documentary is amazingly done, and I hope to see you all there! If anyone needs a ride, there will be carpools from the art building at 6pm this monday.
P.S. Unfortunately, the pizza is not paid for by the AIGA, so bring some cash and we'll figure out how to split the costs.

AGI Trip, Meeting, Bigboy? posted by mark.wills
Designers,
Tonight we'll be having our AIGA meeting at our regularly scheduled time and place 6pm in critique room 90. Bring your laptops we'll be doing some quick designs. Bring any idea's you have for speakers; we'll be compiling a list of designers to start contacting. After the meeting I'll be sitting down with every one who's going on the trip to go over the details. And as usual we'll probably be grabbing something to eat afterwords.
See you all there

Server Downtime :( posted by geof.crowl
Sorry about the downtime, the server's hard drives had a complete failure. Thankfully we have daily SQL and file backups made, so it just took a lot of time and work to get everything restored and back up. If there are any weird glitches that might be associated with the restore, or information is missing, don't hesitate to drop a line here or email Mark or I.
Again, sorry for the technical difficulties.
